2009 TEJANO ACADEMY SUPERDANCE® IN LAS VEGAS!
  
The 2nd Annual Tejano Academy SuperDance® will take place at Bally's, 3645 Las Vegas Blvd. S. in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 17-18, 2009. The event, with a cast of celebrated top Tejano entertainers, will begin at 7:00 pm in the Grand Ballroom of Bally's Casino featuring a Texas-sized dance floor! Scheduled to perform are: Augustine Ramírez (Austin); David Lee Garza y Los Musicales (Poteet) featuring Agnes Torres (Rio Grande Valley) & Oscar G. (Eagle Pass); Hometown Boys (Houston); Joel Guzmán (Buda); Los 2 Gilbertos (Rio Grande Valley); Los Dudes (San Antonio); Rudy Palacios (SAT - accompanied by band from AZ); Shelly Lares (SAT); Stefani Montiel (SAT); Tex-Maniacs (SAT).
This is the second SuperDance produced by the Tejano Academy®, a nonprofit organization whose mission is "to create and mobilize a unified effort of Tejano artists & musicians and formulate a membership organization that will fill the present void of Tejano music in the entertainment industry." To date, the organization boasts a membership of 400+ artists & musicians with 300 members in its support group, the Compadres.
In an effort to make this event affordable to all our Tejano music lovers throughout the Southwest, the Board of Directors set ticket prices at $75 for VIP and $50 general admission with a special discount for those who plan to attend both nights. The Academy of Tejano Artist & Musicians is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Tejano Academy Super Dance in Las Vegas on July 17th – July 18th, 2009 at the legendary Bally’s Hotel & Casino. The Tejano Super Dance is brought about to join the most talented Tejano musicians together for a weekend of fun and entertainment and to help benefit the Academy of Tejano Artists & Musicians as a non-profit organization.

The 2009 Tejano Academy Super Dance will help create awareness for the mission of the Academy of Tejano Artists &Musicians. The mission is to create and mobilize a unified effort of Tejano Artist & Musicians. And formulate a membership organization that will fill the present void of Tejano music in the entertainment industry. Such organization will recognize and reward those actively touring/recording in their respective music fields by their own peers which in turn will educate and raise public awareness of the excellence and quality of Tejano music.
